HND Course

A Higher National Diploma (HND) qualification prepares students for a certain job and career through academic and practical training programs. The HND programs can be granted by a number of organizations, including the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality, and other HND diplomas. There are 240 credits in an HND. That equates to two-thirds of a typical undergraduate degree. An HND can be pursued by students who have earned their A Level or the equivalent. Completing an HND can provide a faster and more direct route into a job for people who know exactly what industry or career they want to work in. A higher national diploma typically takes two years (full-time) to four years (part-time) to complete. It is the equivalent of the first two years of university.
